NIKI WAS BAPTIZED TODAY!!

It was such a special evening. She was absolutely glowing...

And Dennis was able to come!

He wore his mask
like he is supposed to,
but took it off for a few photos.

It was exciting that he was able to attend
and witness this special occasion.

Congratulations Niki!!

WE GOT OUR TREE TODAY!

We go to the same tree farm every year...

The boys work as a team to cut down the one we find...
Mission accomplished!

My mom took this photo, the laughing cracks me up!

Larry lugged the tree down the hill...

I love him...

Landon showed us a new technique for decorating. You kiss the flowers...

then strategically place them. It was so cute.

What a perfect morning....

NOW THAT THANKSGIVING IS

over, I have Christmas, Christmas, Christmas on my mind....

If you ever fantasize about being a beautiful elf like Arwen...

or a seasonal elf like this, did you know you can find out your Elvish name?

Mine is Galadhwen, (pronounced Gah-lahth-wehn).

Are you ready to let your inner elf out?

and find out what your elvish name is and go do some good deeds.....

WE TALK ABOUT OUR KIDNEY

like a person or a pet, so it has a name now.

KRANKIE

(KD + Frankie = Krankie)

Update: Dennis, Krankie and I are doing awesome and our recovery is going quite smoothly. Dennis and Krankie are doing so great they don't have to go back to the doctor for 3 weeks!

THANKSGIVING MORNING STARTED

with laughter... Last night Larry and mom put the turkey in brine and this morning mom was stuffing the turkey with onions, carrots, celery, etc...

The funny part was that touching the raw turkey was making her gag. It was HILARIOUS!!

The boys got together this morning to go hunting.

Hunting animals and Nazi on the Wii that is.....

We had SO much food for our Thanksgiving feast, it was all delicious, REALLY delicious....

And we had a fun time at dinner and the kids got along great today - it was wonderful!
I got tired, took a nap and slept through the rest of Thanksgiving....
When I woke up I got to eat a bit of Swedish Apple Pie, Sweet Potato Pie and Pumpkin Pie. Absolutely delicious...

Our day was full of laughter, wrestling, music....

Picture taking and relaxing.

Our family has a lot to be grateful for and it was a wonderful day. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well.....

A SWEET LANDON MOMENT...

when Thanksgiving was over.

Me - "Happy Thanksgiving Landon"

Landon - "Happy Thanksgiving mom, but I thought it was going to be Christmas. Is it Christmas now?"

He's just a smidge excited.....

LACH LOVES MARSHMALLOWS

and he even shares.....

AND THE DISH RAN AWAY

with the spoon... Isn't this bowl/spoon combo from Farmhouse Wares awesome? The best part is it's HUGE - it holds 4 cups!

Soup, cereal, ice cream, oh my......

AREN'T THESE THE CUTEST

mittens? Winter is coming and I think these Kate Spade unisex hi 5 mittens are darling!

The great thing about them is every pair that is purchased helps women in war-torn countries by “directly supporting a woman as she rebuilds her life, family and community.”

Currently they are sold out, but hopefully we can expect a re-stock soon and they won't be too bad on the budget......

SHELBY TAGGED ME

and luckily this is an easy one! Lach is about 6 months old and we were playing airplane. I just loved this toothless smile of his. I love his teethy smile too, but there is something about bald headed babies with gummy smiles. I love it!!

I tag anyone who wants to play. Rules are: go to your photos, take your 4th picture out of your 4th file, post and explain the photo.

DAY & AGE CAME

out today! The Killers are in my happy place....

REMEMBER WHEN I TOLD YOU

that at the Twilight movie, I was kept really warm with lots of blankets in a camping chair while we waited outside in line?

My sister Stephanie sent me this photo that she took of me and it cracks me up!

Notice I'm sitting with 5 blankets, hot chocolate AND deer blood. They had my back!

For more Twilight photos of our evening check out Stephanie's blog......

"WHEN YOU ARE A MAN, SOMETIMES

you wear stretchy pants in your room.
It's for fun."

Sound familiar?

If that makes you laugh,

you would have had fun
with us tonight for
Nacho Libre Bunko......

Wondering what Shane and I are holding? We had a ghost couple....

Nacho Libre was our background entertainment....

We answered trivia questions...

and played a fun game of bunko....

At the end of the evening there were prizes for the winners, and nada (that's Nacho Libre talk for nothing!) for the losers.

It was such a fun evening, thanks Chris and Jona for hosting!
